Prolektro S(ABS) Thin 10 Pack Plastic Electrode-Welding Rod

ABS is a hard plastic widely used on automobiles and motorcycles. Bumper plastics of vehicles, mirrors, front shutters, rear stop connection legs and motorcycle outer grilles are welded with this electrode.

Appropriate heat setting should be made in the heat gun. After the welding mouth work is done, a single layer of welding should be made with a narrow welding electrode on the front surface of the material and welded using a wide electrode on the back surface, and the application should be finalized by throwing tangent support welds at appropriate intervals with the starting and ending points of the weld.

Cooling ABS, which is a hard plastic derivative, from the surface gives better results. Again, as in other applications, cleaning and leveling operations should be performed at the end of the repair.
